1. Strong broadcast and/or writing skills.

• Role-specific task: Lead activity on everadio.orq and social media, e.g. on Facebook and Twitter.
• Role-specific task: Train and mentor other BJs in online journalism.
• Role-specific task: Writes appropriate copy for web/social media.
• Identifies, researches and sets-up news stories. Contributes to story and programming ideas.
• Writes copy and/or presents scripts.
• Clips audio and writes copy for bulletins.
• Conducts live reporting/cover live events.

• Conducts news interviews.
• Produces live output in the studio or on site at outside broadcasts.
• Responsibility to develop basic capacity in studio/technical operations in order to perform your da ily work, to
learn/adhere to stated guidelines, to take care to maintain and protect studios/equipment and to promptly report
faults to studio/ engineering team.
• Responsibility to comply with and implement commercial content including scheduled commercials, PSAs and coproduced
programming as advised by Programming Editor in coordination with Commercia l Manager and Producer,
Commercial/Station Sound.
• Responsibility to familiarize and adhere to all Eye Radio policies (editorial, style guide, code of ethics, station
sound/presenter guidelines, etc.) and Eye Media organizational policies and procedures (Staff Handbook, conflict of
interest, etc.)
• Responsibility to conduct oneself at all times in a way which maintains the station's high standards of
professionalism and is consistent with the Eye Media mission and values.
11 Travels in Juba, within South Sudan or other locations to cover events, gather news, etc. as assigned.

• Station Manager may shift Rota assignments and schedule based on Eye Radio program requirements.
