About Company: KWTA has specific core functions. Its main function is to co-ordinate and oversees the protection, rehabilitation, conservation,and sustainable management of water towers. The Agency also co-ordinates and oversees the recovery and restoration of forest lands, wetlands and biodiversity hotspots. It has the responsibility of promoting the implementation of livelihood programs in the water towers in accordance with natural resource conservation laws.

(i) Have a Master’s degree from a reputable institution in any of the following fields: Business Administration, Business Management or any other relevant field; (ii) Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:- Community Development, Natural Resource Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project management or any other related field; (iii) Have at least six years (6) relevant work experience (3) of which must be at a senior management level; (iv) Have demonstrated professional competence, leadership qualities as well as good negotiating skills; (v) Demonstrate understanding of international treaties and conventions on public private partnership; (vi) Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Kenya Water Agency Strategic Plan, the Kenya Vision 2030 and related National development goals; (vii) Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity. (viii) Have attended a management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks. (ix) Have relevant computer applications skills (x) Have computer applications skills in project Management; (xi) Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
(i) Participate in formulating strategies and operational programs for private sector development and PPP promotion in consultation with relevant government agencies. (ii) Participate in the preparation and development of a Partnership Strategy in the Natural Resources Sector (iii) Liaise with Private sector Associations in the preparation of private sector assessments for a Partnership Strategy, and identification of common work initiatives. (iv) Participate in conducting policy dialogue with other agencies, development partners, the private sector, and other stakeholders to identify and address challenges to scaling up private sector development and PPPs in the Natural Resources Sector. (v) Promote application of innovative PPP structures and approaches within the sector. (vi) Promotion of initiatives for resource mobilization from international funding mechanisms (global, bi-lateral and Multi-lateral among others); (vii) Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual status report from the region on project, programmes and resources. (viii) Assist in development of projects in accordance with KWTA Group’s design and specification standards; (ix) Participate in the preparation of annual and other budgets, and conduct periodic budget reviews and analyses, managing reconciliation of on-site and off-site budgets; (x) Mentoring and coaching officers under him/her.
