Holder of University degree in electronics/electronic engineering, computer science,
Information Technology or relevant qualification from recognized university or institution.
3-4 years' experience in the same position
Excellent computer and training skills.
Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively in English/Kiswahili.
Operates, provides instant support and deals with trouble shooting in the existing systems e.g.
branch operations, e-mail, internet banking, SMS banking, power severs, PCs, swift, signature,
and the like are in a good running order and provide support where necessary.
Participate in the development of project of the IS related technical aspects.
Perform trouble shooting as they arise.
Maintain and ensure that disaster procedures are adhered to
Analyze, customize, test and upgrade the new patches or existing patches of various systems.
Look after 'Start of Day' and 'End of Day' and normal operations of the branch.
Train system users
Monitor system changes
Plan for integration of new products to ensure new products are integrated into the system and
perform as required
Investigate problems, issues reported from business units and provide solutions
Maintain and devise information systems, standards and procedures
Assist in the selection of suitable software
