University degree in a relevant field, preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Accounting.
At least five years professional experience in EU institutions environment, multilateral development banks, national promotional banks or banking / auditing sector, with a proven experience in Financial instruments of at least 3 years.
Knowledge of EU Institutional and regulatory framework.
Good understanding of complex financial products, (grants, loans, guarantees, equity, quasi-equity, ABS) and the related legal documentation.
Coordinate within the Finance Directorate the development or improvement of Partnerships activities by:

proactively advising services involved in the strategic discussions on the domain at bank-wide or interinstitutional level and ensure the achievement of institutional objectives. Typical activities include:

    Take part and represent the Finance directorate, as the case may be, in the negotiations with the Commission or other partners on the conditions of implementation of Partnerships within FI.
    Represent whenever required, FI in inter-directorate projects, initiatives and working groups in the domains related to Partnerships.

advising on possible operational and/or financial issues in order to minimise the operational risks for the Bank ensure its reputation. Typical activities include:

    Review all the documentation inherent to the Partnerships, identify the impacts for FI services and activities (operational and/or financial) and dispatch information to the services concerned at very early stage in order to establish a ‘permanent’ communication on Partnerships within FI.
    Initiate and implement new projects to improve efficiency and minimise operational risk of the Partnerships processes focused (but not limited) to the FI related activities.
