Seven years of progressively responsible experience related to resource mobilization, donor relations, policy development work and government liaison of which at least 5 years should be in a legal advisory role at the international level including experience within the UN system. Demonstrated work experience in a public health environment dealing with multi-party complex negotiations, drafting legal documents and strategic relationship management with high level external partners. Experience in developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies and project implementation at global and country levels. Experience in handling complex negotiations and in implementation of grant agreements with governments and other public and private sector partners particularly in developing countries.
Coordinate and lead as focal point and interface with high level officials, Member States, development banks, development agencies, foundations and private sector in order to develop, maintain and consolidate collaborations surrounding the implementation of the AMR GAP and the work of the AMR Secretariat.
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders for strategic positioning, consensus building, advocacy and resource mobilization.
Report on all progress to the Director of the AMR Secretariat.
