§ Minimum of 15 years of experience in Africa with local experience in Mogadishu, Somalia is an advantage.

Languages:

§ Fluency in English (essential) , Somali (desirable) and Arabic (desirable).

Master’s Degree in International Affairs, Public Policy, Public Administration, Communication, Social Studies Conflict Resolution or related field.

15 years working experience in technical assistance to institution building and/or legal drafting, including in in post-conflict settings.

Responsibilities
Strategic support to the Speakers of both houses and parliament.
Planning of the parliamentary calendar, strategy program and priorities.
Continued support to the strategic planning and process design of the constitution making process.
Support to the parliament leadership re the establishment and management of the 10th parliament.
Continued support to the functioning of parliamentary committees including constitution review committee.
Support to the induction training, joint retreat of the NFP.
