Requirements
1. Degree in Public health, diploma in clinical medicine, Nursing or midwifery with at least 3 years
working experience in health related monument
2. Independent, dynamic and capable of organising his/her work
3. Good Command of English, Arabic speaking skills and added advantage to the native language
4. Good experience with relevant computer software packages including word and excel, DHIS
SSPS or EPI Info
5. Able to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines
6. Those who have worked in the region of Upper Nile with Arabic and Shilliuk speaking skills will
have a distinct advantage
7. Should be ready to spend most of the working time (90%) in the field/Fashoda working with the
County Health department and with facility staffs
8. Be diplomatic, culturally sensitive, result-oriented, innovative and a strong team player

Responsibilities
1. Support the CHO to improve on the management of the health facility and particularly ensure that
monthly facility supervision is under taken and incentives for the health facilities paid on time.
2. To check and verify data collected from the health facilities and ensure accuracy and quality at the
health facilities and in the OHIS system at the County Health department
3. Check on the use of the facility operations money and ensure value for money and proper
prioritization by health facilities and accounting of all funds
4. Organise and champion the health cluster meeting at the County and also participate in health
related forum/meetings at the County level, State level and Juba level when ever need be.
5. Work with the County health department to develop community Health structures at all the health
facilities
6. Ensure that drugs/vaccines are available in the health facilities and at the County health
department at all times.
7. Organise trainings for the health facility staffs and ensure that areas of weakness are addressed
through both on job training and formal short term trainings
8. Organise community feedback sessions to check on the client satisfaction and major community
concerns
9. Ensure regular assets inventory and keeping of track records both at the County level and at the
health facilities.
10. Assist in the determination of PBC earned by each Health facility through the data collection from
the health facilities in collaboration with the CHO
11. Identify, discuss and make recommendation(s) to the obstacles, challenges and problems that
affect health in the county.
12. Ensuring both indicator and activity reports are submitted in good quality and in a timely manner to
the various take holders with copies sent to Cordaid M&E officer Juba.
13. Provide oversight, training, data management support (forms, tools, monitoring systems) and
guidance to concerned project staff in accordance to the South Sudan MOH protocols.
14. Represent the organization to the authorities in Fashoda area and liaise with the other actors
dealing with health in the area
15. Any other duties as and when assigned by the supervisor
