About Company: Community in Need Aid (CINA) is a national NGO working in South Sudan, based in Juba. CINA has been working in Jonglei, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria and Lakes States since 2011 to date. CINA is currently implementing an Integrated Child Protection Programme, including provision of Family Tracing and Reunification, Psychosocial Support, Case Management and Mine Risk Education Services and general child protection in emergencies intervention for children, adolescents and families affected by conflict. Particularly in 2017, CINA is implementing a pilot project of Integrated Protection Mobile Teams in all priority locations across the country. To effectively achieve the programme objectives, CINA is therefore, seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Family Tracing and Reunification Caseworkers (2 positions) to be based in Bor and its surrounding islands.

College Diploma of Arts in Education, Social Science, Community Studies, Social Work or related
 Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in child protection in emergencies including
knowledge of Community based Psychosocial Support methodologies, Design of CFS operations, PFA
and case management and needs assessments
 Strong experience in child protection policies and practices in South Sudan
 Strong experience and knowledge of Do No Harm and conflict sensitivity approaches
 Demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian emergency operating context including, the
humanitarian system, security and field level project management
 Proven ability to carry out child protection activities with holistic and integrated approach.
 Knowledge of how to map services and follow up referral services for children
 Good English language and computer skills.
 Strong team-work spirit, trustworthiness, communication, and facilitation skills
 Good knowledge of local Arabic and Dinka language is a desired advantage.
 Flexible; possessing the ability to wear different, “hats” on short notice and readiness to working in
„hard-to-reach areas‟ and conflict affected areas in South Sudan up to 75% of his/her time.
 Work with PSS Officer to adopt and implement appropriate community based PSS methodologies targeting
children as well as caregivers
 Work with PSS facilitators and caregivers to identify, admit and manage individual cases of children exhibiting
episodes of psychosocial distress in line with CINA‟s case management guidelines and procedures
 Support and work with PSS facilitators to provide continuous mentoring and support for local solution finding
 Ensure that PSS sites are well equipped with the necessary play materials for children, both local and imported
recreational supplies
 Ensure that PSS work plans are displayed in all the PSS sites and adhered to by PSS facilitators
 Ensure that PSS activities are run within the specified time, that is from 9:00 am-12:00 pm in the morning and
from 4:00-6:00 pm in the evening , a total of 6 hours per day, attended by different aged groups of children and
 Monitor‟s children‟s attendance and advise the PSS officer on the progress and challenges facing PSS sites
including recommendations for changing location sites or shifting PSS facilitators
 Facilitate establishment of CP desks in schools for mainstreaming PSS activities in schools and work with
teachers and PSS clubs to enrich PSS activities in schools
 Conduct case conference sessions to mobilize efforts necessary for managing the most complicated PSS cases
 Organize community engagement/awareness raising events in the community while ensuring at least 70%
children‟s participation
 Perform any other task that may be assigned to her/him by the supervisors
