About Company: Community in Need Aid (CINA) is a national NGO working in South Sudan, based in Juba. CINA has been working in Jonglei, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria and Lakes States since 2011 to date. CINA is currently implementing an Integrated Child Protection Programme, including provision of Family Tracing and Reunification, Psychosocial Support, Case Management and Mine Risk Education Services and general child protection in emergencies intervention for children, adolescents and families affected by conflict. Particularly in 2017, CINA is implementing a pilot project of Integrated Protection Mobile Teams in all priority locations across the country. To effectively achieve the programme objectives, CINA is therefore, seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Family Tracing and Reunification Caseworkers (2 positions) to be based in Bor and its surrounding islands.

College Diploma of Arts in Education, Social Science, Community Studies, Social Work or related
 Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in child protection in emergencies including
knowledge of FTR processes, PSS and PFA, case management and needs assessments
 Strong experience in child protection policies and practices in South Sudan
 Strong experience and knowledge of Do No Harm and conflict sensitivity approaches
 Demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian emergency operating context including, the
humanitarian system, security and field level project management
 Proven ability to carry out child protection activities with holistic and integrated approach.
 Knowledge of how to map services and follow up referral services for children
 Good English language and computer skills.
 Strong team-work spirit, trustworthiness, communication, and facilitation skills
 Good local Arabic and knowledge of at least two local languages of South Sudanese is a desired
 Flexible; possessing the ability to wear different, “hats” on short notice and readiness to working in
„hard-to-reach areas‟ and conflict affected areas in South Sudan up to 75% of his/her time.
 Identify, document and provide immediate tracing of unaccompanied children.
 Conduct a rapid assessment to determine the most appropriate emergency alternative care for
unaccompanied children.
 Provide PFA for those in need.
 Conduct CP case management as required.
 Facilitate safe and confidential referrals to other service providers.
 Build key relationships with community structures and other service providers.
 Sensitise community focal points on CP case identification and safe referrals including UASC and child survivors of GBV, CAAFAG, etc.
