About Company: Community in Need Aid (CINA) is a national NGO working in South Sudan, based in Juba. CINA has been working in Jonglei, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria and Lakes States since 2011 to date. CINA is currently implementing an Integrated Child Protection Programme, including provision of Family Tracing and Reunification, Psychosocial Support, Case Management and Mine Risk Education Services and general child protection in emergencies intervention for children, adolescents and families affected by conflict. Particularly in 2017, CINA is implementing a pilot project of Integrated Protection Mobile Teams in all priority locations across the country. To effectively achieve the programme objectives, CINA is therefore, seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Family Tracing and Reunification Caseworkers (2 positions) to be based in Bor and its surrounding islands.

 Bachelor‟s Degree or College Diploma of Arts in Education, Social Science, Community Studies,
Social Work or related disciplines.
 Minimum 3 years of proven experience working in child protection in emergencies projects or
 Strong experience in child protection policies and practices in South Sudan
 Strong experience and knowledge of Do No Harm and conflict sensitivity approaches
 Demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian emergency operating context including, the
humanitarian system, security and field level project management
 Proven ability to supervise child protection activities with holistic and integrated approach.
 Good English language and computer skills.
 Strong team-leading, trustworthiness, communication, and facilitation skills
 Good local Arabic and knowledge of at least two local languages of South Sudanese is a desired
 Event planning; assessment planning and participation in CPRAs and IRNAs in all areas of CINA‟s
 Flexible; possessing the ability to wear different, “hats” on short notice and readiness to working in
„hard-to-reach areas‟ and conflict affected areas in South Sudan up to 75% of his/her time.
 Lead CPiE IPMT team including day to day management
 Lead the CPiE IPMT team during Child Protection Rapid Assessments (CPRAs) and other integrated
needs assessments
 Lead IPMT in identification and prioritization of emergency cases (UASC with high risks, child
survivors of GBV, children at risk of recruitment, children showing severe distress, etc)
 Oversee documentation of UASC cases identified using FTR processes and CPIMS database
 Oversee case management, PSS and outreach work on prevention of CP risks and integration into
other sector outreach activities
 Provide Psychosocial First Aid (PFA) for those in need
 Strengthen CP coordination, referrals and capacity to respond to individual child protection cases.
Establish emergency CP referral pathways when required, with child protection, GBV, protection,health and other service providers and community structures.
 Map local services for referral pathways.
 Conduct safety assessments and safety audits.
 Identify communities and safe spaces for activities.
 Coordinates referrals and advocacy for services.
 Assist the Security Officer to scan security status of priority locations, coordinate with local security
authorities on ground and keep the team and management abreast of security situation in the
intervention area
 Coordinates the IPMT logistics on ground
