About Company: Community in Need Aid (CINA) is a national NGO working in South Sudan, based in Juba. CINA has been working in Jonglei, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria and Lakes States since 2011 to date. CINA is currently implementing an Integrated Child Protection Programme, including provision of Family Tracing and Reunification, Psychosocial Support, Case Management and Mine Risk Education Services and general child protection in emergencies intervention for children, adolescents and families affected by conflict. Particularly in 2017, CINA is implementing a pilot project of Integrated Protection Mobile Teams in all priority locations across the country. To effectively achieve the programme objectives, CINA is therefore, seeking qualified candidates to fill the positions of Family Tracing and Reunification Caseworkers (2 positions) to be based in Bor and its surrounding islands.

 A Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, international studies or related field.
 Experience setting up operations in new country programs.
 At least 3 years’ security-based field experience working with United Nations and/or NGOs in
complex emergency operations.
 At least 5 years’ field experience in administrative or operational support functions, including
procurement, logistics and human resources management, with a humanitarian non-governmental
organization, including two years in a field emergency/relief setting in South Sudan
 Strong oral and written Arabic and English skills required.
 Knowledge of humanitarian standards and codes. A clear understanding of the acceptance-based
security approach commonly applied by NGOs is essential. Training or experience in Advanced
Security Management is required for this position.
 Experience managing complex and complicated activities with time sensitive deliverables in unstable
 Ability to deploy quickly.
 Ability to support rapid assessment and immediate response to needs in strife affected areas around
program area. (Distributions, cash/market based responses, etc.)
 Ability to support establishment of good operational and administrative systems.
 Support Senior Management team to develop and maintain a security/risk management system, which
includes the security and risk management strategy and plan, and allows for the continuous updating
of security measures.
 Advise and support the Senior Management with regard to implementing the security and risk
management plan.
 Ensure the security/risk management system is in line with existing CINA policies, protocols and

 In the event of any serious incident, support senior management to manage the situation and assist
with information flow.
 Act as security focal point for both the humanitarian and country programme team in particular with
regards to security incident reporting.
