Education - First level University Degree (or equivalent) in law, social sciences, development studies, information management or
other relevant field. The Applicant should also have proven qualifications on planning, monitoring and evaluations and data collection,
storage and analysis.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the cotton value chain and its actors and of south-south cooperation strategies;
• Follow-up with relevant departments at executing agencies, government offices, constituents and other organizations to expedite
implementation and meet targets of the project;
• Assist the CTA in the project planning, implementation and monitoring of the project;
• Provide programming and administrative support to programmes and project in areas of responsibility;
• Prepare budget estimates and expenditure forecasts by analyzing and monitoring situations of resources as compared to planned
activities and making recommendations to management for remedial actions;
• Develop terms of reference for the project's activities and subcontractors;
• Monitor progress of project activities, identify problems, and provide evidence for corrective measures to be taken;
• Prepare and submit consolidated monitoring and progress reports, including Technical Progress Reports, to the Programme Unit
for reporting on progress to ILO headquarters and regional office and ILO Brasilia
