These guideline-based programs are designed to enable clinicians to identify, evaluate, and potentially intervene upon signs of patient risk, as well as help patients manage their own self-care.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for software design development of patient facing solutions for Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS).
The MCMS Patient Engagement Team develops mobile, web, and voice-based technologies to engage patients with remote patient monitoring.
We are looking for a highly skilled mobile application architect who can serve as the Technical Lead for the patient engagement team.
**Day in the Life:**
Serve as the technical lead for Patient Engagement Team
Develop and maintain applications for iOS, Android, Web, and voice-based technologies
Participate in architecture discussions and coordinate feature development across Sprint teams
Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily standup, demo, and retrospective meetings
Troubleshoot and fix software defects
Create and maintain unit tests
Coach team members on software development and provide feedback to improve implementations and designs
Willing and able to learn new technologies and platforms
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Software Engineering or Software Development degree program or comparable on the job experience with another B.S. degree.
4+ years of hands-on experience working on software development teams (preferably mobile application development experience)
Android Development in JAVA
iOS Development in Swift
Experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Experience working with Rest APIs
Experience with Git and Jenkins
Experience working with unit testing tools
**Nice to Have:**
Ability to interface with all groups and levels to solve problems and create solutions
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in an Agile delivery team
Experience with Kotlin
Experience with RxJava, Retrofit
Experience working with AWS
Experience with continuous integration continuous deployment technologies best practices
