We are looking for PROJECT COORDINATOR



Minimum 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating/implementing economic development projects, Holder of Bachelors in Economics, business or other comparable field Strong analytical, technical writing and public presentation skills Proven project management skills, including planning, coordinating, monitoring and reporting Experience working with procurement and finance department Strong stakeholder communication skills Proven ability to work with partners (donors, bi-lateral organizations, governments) Proven ability to operate effectively and independently with remote supervision.

Work with the Morre - Project Implementation Team (PIT), consisting of MolTC, Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), Ministry of Devolution and Planning (MoDP), and Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MOEST) to coordinate KEPTAP project activities. Coordinate activities relating to Morre PIT including convening of meetings for PIT members (KEBS, MODP, and MOEST) and liaising with Project Monitoring Unit at the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum to ensure success of the Project at MolTC-PIT. Act as liaison between MolTC-PIT and other strategic partners i.e. World Bank and other donors, as well as other PITs and the private sector to realize the KEPTAP objectives. Coordinate work between the procured consultants and PIT members to carry out agreed deliverables within agreed timelines and scope, and ensure successful completion of high quality deliverables. Coordinate development results arising from the work of the consultants. Assist in procurement activities and overall management of Component C of the project budget Develop project implementation plans, training plans and procurement plans in consultation with all Component beneficiaries and coordination with PMU; Manage implementation and completion of initiatives undertaken by the project, and ensuce successful and timely completion of programs. Prepare periodical progress update briefs, monitoring implementation and flagging issues, and share with WB & PMU. Organiie stakeholder knowledge sharing workshops Other deliverables as agreed with project lead over the course of the consulting engagement
