We are looking for Project Coordinator (1 position)

Education: Bachelor

Employment: Full-Time

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in project management , community development or social sciences, with at least 5 years working experience at project management or coordination level. A master's degree in relevant field will be an added advantage. An in depth Understanding of the local context in Lamu. Garisa and Mandera and appreciation of the community dynamics. A working experience in participatory project and community driven approaches. Proven work experience managing Civil Society organizations In governance and economic empowerment. A proven record working with devolved units of governments around policy engagement. Experience In coordinating agribusiness, value addition, youth enterprise development. livelihood programming for youth in marginalized areas and understanding of Technical Vocational Training institutions and their contribution in youth development. A proven effective communicator, mobilizer and motivator in a sensitive working environment. Flexible, professional with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within strict t imelines

Key Responsibility

The Project Coordinator will be based in Malind1 with the following key responsibilities: Directly supervise and provide necessary technical support to project field staff Complete monthly ana quarterly reports according to the donor requirements. Enhance colli;iborat ion between AKF and other relevant partners at county level. Coordinate the implementation of training programs and outreach activities of the organisations consortium.
